I simulated the creation of Datasource and the OK button is enabled. Please see attached files using the Files's tab.

Mr Solorzano, thank you for your immediate response. I´ve checked the file and it looks like Windows XP configuration, and if you confirm this, I´d ask you to keep the tests - when we use Win XP we do not have the problem... But unfortunately our client OS must be Win95/98. Tks. Lindolfo Reinert.

Mr Solorzano, We tried to create a new DataSource using another SAPDB / MAXDB ODBC Driver, and we guess the problem is solved. The version we used : SAPDB ODBC Driver 7.3 - OS Win 98. Tks. Lindolfo.

Description: We are starting a new project here and we´re trying to adopt MAXDB as the Database. Our development environment includes MS-VisualBasic (5.0) and MS-ODBC (administrator is 3.525.1022.0) as the database connector. After installing the MaxDB ODBC Driver (7.4) we proceed with including a new DataSource that was supposed to be used by the application on the client side. However the button "OK" remains disabled - even after completing all the information required ("Data Source Name", "Description", "Database", "Server"), obstructing the conclusion. How to repeat: Client - Celeron 2.4, 256 MRAM, Win 98, ODBC Admin 3.525.1022.0, We believe that just simulating the creation of new DataSource´s could be the good chance to repeat the problem we are facing up here.
