Hi,

I have a problem using MySQL workbench on all 5.2 versions: no OpenGL is detected and so Native rendering is used. I have seen a couple of persons under windows who had this problem, no solutions for linux. It seems mysqlwb does not detect opengl even though it is correctly installed. I am using drivers from NVidia and have full 3D acceleration for all my other programs. 
I have enclosed in this message the output of MySQL Workbench system's information as well as output from glxinfo. Let me know if you need more.

I trace this problem to that function std::string mdc::detect_opengl_version()
as it is defined in library/canvas/src/gtk/mdc_gtk_canvas_view.cpp which always returns an empty string.

Moreover, it seems that, on my configuration, calling glXQueryVersion in that function always returns null and I don't really know why.
Is the OpenGL/GLX context initialized at that time ?
