Description:
When I tried to create a New server Instance in third step I obtain a MYsql Workbench Unexpected Error

Attempt of writing or reading in the protected memory. Often, this indicates that there is another damaged memory.

How to repeat:
Always in third step, after install the program

What exact version, 5.2.x, do you use?
[16 Dec 2010 19:15] David Amodia
I use Mysql version 5.1.41
and Mysql Workbench 5.2 CE.

I just delete

"%APPDATA%[\Roaming]\MySQL\Workbench\workbench_user_data.dat"

As says on bug number 54513, but it didn't work.

I have just updated mysql server to 5.8.8 and everything works ok.

SOLUTION: Update server.
