How to repeat:
install using the .msi

Suggested fix:
The shortcut to the client is very convenient if you have many MySQL instances. Please keep it.

My MySQL servers with 5.5 expanded in start menu. No client shortcut.

I commented that in bug: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=58297 and I suspect it is the cause of invalid path so both related.

I'm installing mysql 5.5 in my windows 2003 64bit server and stopped in starting service.
