Description:
Installed MySQL server ver 5.1.52 and Workbench 5.2.29.  Open Workbench and connect to MySQL on localhost.  I clicked on the "Configuration" tab and immediately received a pop-window with the following words:

Exception: Internal error.  File data passed is not in expected format.  This is a bug, we would greatly apreciate if you file a bug report at http://bugs.mysql.com

I have a screen capture to attach if you need to see it.

How to repeat:

What path to configuration file is used for this instance? I have the following:

%ProgramFiles%\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\my.ini
