Description:
The arrange commands (send to front, send to back, etc.) are not enabled in the EER view. This makes it very difficult to work with views, since they block the ability to select the tables within them if they're created after the table has been put in place.

How to repeat:
Create an EER diagram, add some tables to it, and then create a view box around them. You will not be able to select the tables, and if you select the view box, the commands to send it to the back are not available (grayed out).

Please, send .mwb file that demonstrates the problem, and more specific instructions on how to repeat it.

I do not see any problem similar to described with my models.

Strange. It's working for me now. Could have been a bug that was only occurring within that session. If it happens again, I'll see what other info I can find.

Thanks for being so responsive, by the way.

Inform us if you ever get this problem again.

It happened again to me yesterday. I'm not sure what caused it. When I closed and reopened the EER diagram, the arrange commands came back. So it seems it's something I did within the session I was working on it.

Thanks,

Bill

An entry has been added to the 5.2.31 changelog:

The commands to arrange objects were not enabled in the EER Diagram view. This rendered it impossible to move objects to the back or bring them to the front.
