You can change the color of the titles n the Properties tab, by double-clicking the color field. This is a duplicate of bug #57428

Thanks for the comment, but that was the point of the bug, in snow leopard i am not able to change the color of the box. The color picker never opens as it does in Ubuntu.

It works for me in Snow Leopard, did you double-click the text/color rectangle? Try different areas of the color field and also check if the color panel didn't get under another window.

I've tried clicking in about all areas of that and have confirmed that there is not a second window open. I have even tried to click "return". If there is anything you'd like to know about this specific machine let me know. Is the upcoming fix just to have 2 colors that contrast each other? If so i'll wait until the next release, perhaps i'll try an older one.
