Error opening configuration file

Exception:  Internal error.  File data passed is not in expected format.  This is a bug, we would greatly apprreciate if you file a bug report at........................

How to repeat:
I cannot successfully install on om new MacBookPro.

We need exact name of file you downloaded and accurate version of your operating system. I assume this is 64-bit Snow Leopard.

This relates to EOL (no longer supported) versions of MySQL Server. Furthermore, both Mac OS X and the MySQL packaging on OS X have gone a long way since this was reported. Thus closing.
