Description:
Sorry for the maybe unclear synopsis.

Sync model to database shows the differences between model and database, just before it creates the change script.

In that list of databases and tables (routines, views, ...) some tables are marked as update model to database, but the change script is empty, afterwards.
Means in an current example, three of 32 tables are marked as changed, thus I'd expect that alter table code would be created.
When I view the change script, it just shows the standard SET commands, which save and restore the original server settings.

Database is an MySQL 5.0.51a (Debian Lenny default package).

Usually I do an reverse sync after syncing the model to db (i.e. collation is set to an value instead of "model default" which is used in workbench), to get rid of that messages, but this time the "differences" do not disappear.

How to repeat:
Retry sync model to db, occurs on every retry.

Suggested fix:
It seems as if the "find differences" algo works differently from the "make update sql script" algo.

Hello Markus,
could you provide the parts of the model which show that behavior (sql and/or model file)?
thanks in advance

Markus,

Yes, dump of the structure of the DB you're trying to sync and the model would be helpful.

Just import the dump and do an sync model with db, you will find 3 or 4 differences in crm_central, if I remember right, which will not disappear regardless of the actions I performed (sync to db, sync back to model, ...).
