See how-to-repeat, and here is the result :
mysqld: slave.cc:2453: void* handle_slave_sql(void*): Assertion `((rli->cur_log)->pos_in_file + (uint) (*(rli->cur_log)->current_pos - (rli->cur_log)->request_pos)) == rli->relay_log_pos' failed.

How to repeat:
have at least one query in the master's binlog.
reset slave;
start slave;
stop slave;
change master to relay_log_pos=4;
start slave ; -- crash.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been fixed in the latest
development tree for that product. You can find more information about
accessing our development trees at

4 or less was necessary to get the bug, and only with RELAY_LOG_POS.
A non-debug mysqld would not have crashed in the DBUG_ASSERT, but may
do strange things later.
