Hi Luke, did you install version .28 over a previous release or was it a first time install? can you please try to launch WB using the cmd-line parameter -swrendering to see if it prevents the crash? thanks in advance

I installed this over a previous version. I cannot remember exactly what version I had previously, but it was not very old (1-3 months). I modified the launch shortcut to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL\MySQL Workbench 5.2 CE\MySQLWorkbench.exe" -swrendering This seems to have fixed the crash.
