Description:
This may be related to: http://bugs.mysql.com/57258

Open new mode .. open a diagram, add a few objects (I added a layer and an empty table), close the diagram without saving (upper right corner 'x').

The diagram icon still displays. Clicking it returns an error screen.

Now everything stops working. I can add a new diagram, but not open it and the same error screen as before keeps pooping up a lot of times. When it finally stops it cannot open anything. I can open a 3rd diagram but if I do all GUI elements for navigating disappears.

I can not repeat this on Mac OS X. Should try on Windows later.

Verified just as described on Windows XP.

This issue has been fixed in current release (5.2.29)
[3 Nov 2010 16:26] Tony Bedford
An entry has been added to the 5.2.29 changelog:

If an EER diagram was created, and then closed, attempting to reopen it would cause MySQL Workbench to display an unexpected error dialog.
