Description:
Mysql Workbench on Linux (I've tested in Ubuntu 32 bits) doesn't use opengl in modeling window.

On Windows it uses GPU, so the performance on Windows is much better then the performance on Linux.

As workbench on Linux uses cairo to render, I think cairo-gl is a good option.

I'm using Ubuntu Linux 32 bit with ATI graphic system (proprietary driver)

How to repeat:
Open the modeling window. Create some items, tables, etc. Do it in Windows and Linux. Compare the performance.

Suggested fix:
Use cairo-gl do boost the performance of modeling system.
