Description:
Trying so send SQL to clipboard

How to repeat:
CTRL C

Please, give more details on how to repeat. I've copied SQL for several tables in my models and pasted it to external editor, without any problems. So, what exactly you did?

I was in Linux Kubuntu latest version of the o/s 10. something. When I would highlight a table then do a cntrl-c it would not let me paste it back and sometimes it owuld freeze the screen. When it did not freeze teh screen I woudl have to use teh tool bar to paste the copied table. I could never right clik the mouse in the table section and say paste table. The right click did not work.

The procedure you described (using Ctrl+C for copying table from the diagram and then using Ctrl+V or context menu item to paste a copy of it on the diagram) works without problems for me on both Windows XP and Ubuntu 10.04.

close it

Why close? You can't repeat it any more or the problem was a result of some your mistake?

If you still suspect a bug in Workbench, please, send the results of Help > System Info menu item in it and the results of

cat /etc/issue

Linux command.
