Description:
In MySQL Query Browser, you could save the routine or view currently being edited by clicking the "Save" icon, selecting File .. Save, or pressing Ctrl-S.

That functionality is now missing from the Workbench SQL Editor. This makes it difficult to save routines etc. to disc for configuration management purposes - it is necessary to copy/paste from SQL Editor to another text editor, and save it from there.

How to repeat:
N/A

Suggested fix:
Add Save functionality to the Edit Routine/view windows. Note that although I have raised this as S4 (feature request), I'd suggest that it should really be fixed in 5.2.* as it is fairly basic functionality that really should exist.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.0.2 public beta release, and here's the changelog entry:

A toolbar was added to all script editors with options that include
save and load buttons.

Thank you for the bug report.
