Description:
launching the Workbench, selected one of my db connections, a dialog prompted me that there is a serious problem in the extension. 

I am running across a VPN connection from home. the desktop is windows. the server is rhel. the mysql is version 5.1.40-community. 

Hope that's enough. 

How to repeat:
launch workbench, select a connection, hope you get the bug... does not happen frequently. 

Suggested fix:
dont really know what the problem is at this point. sorry.
