Description:
Workbench 5.2.26CE is giving an error when trying to open a .mwb file that was created by an earlier version. I don't know whether this is expected behavior, or a bug. (Did not find documentation to answer that.) Or, if it's just a corrupted .mwb file.

The error given is

"The file does not contain a workbench document"

How to repeat:
I will attach the .mwb file; open it with WB 5.2.26CE

Verified as described on 5.2.25 and 5.2.26

Cannot open document '<filename>'
"The File does not contain a Workbench document."

File needs to be checked for corruption in older version of WorkBench. Do we know, or can we find out, what release this model was created in?

As noted by Scott, this will not be implemented as it requires significant effort and has very limited use.
There are also some workarounds, such as exporting the model to SQL in the older version and importing
it from the newer and rearranging the tables manually.

Further, since Scott reports the customer issue has already been handled, I'll close this as Won't Fix
