Description:
Installed over 2.2.16 (whose "Install" option did nothing so a website download was done instead) and got the error message after clicking "Finish"

How to repeat:
Installed over 2.2.16 (whose "Install" option did nothing so a website download was done instead) and got the error message after clicking "Finish"

Please, provide the exact error message. Is it something like "OverviewBE::get_node:invalid_node 0.0.0"? Does it really happen upon startup or when you try to connect to some MySQL server?

"Update...", not "Install". The "Help | Update..." option does nothing in .25 either.

Please, reply to my previous requests.

Interesting (or sad), this page doesn't show your questions.

You'll need to send me an email address or allow an upload of the .jpg screen capture of the message if you want to see it. "Invalid Node" is the only part that looked like an actual error message, everything else looked generic. Closing the error message did get me into the Workbench okay but with a somewhat distorted screen that cleared up on refresh. Restarts of the Workbench have not produced an error message.

Your request received for a third time:

"Please, provide the exact error message. Is it something like "OverviewBE::get_node:invalid_node 0.0.0"? Does it really happen upon startup or when you try to connect to some MySQL server?"

???? Not sure what you're not understanding about my replys???

The title of the window is "MySQL Workbench Unexpected Error"

The first line is generic: "MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem"

The error message is: "Invalid node"

The window continues generically: "We are sorry for the inconvenience..."

So far it only happened upon finishing the 2.2.25 install.

What is the exact error message?
Is Workbench working now? Is it just a random issue?

Hi Susanne Ebrecht,

Please read the prior correspondence, your answers are all there. If you want a screen capture then you'll need to provide an email address or a way to upload images.
