Description:
In the preference window, apperance tab, to choice application fonts you need write the font name. The most usual is uses system's font dialog.

How to repeat:
Menu Edit -> Preferences -> Apperance tab.
In fonts grid, click in any font name. 

Suggested fix:
Use system's font dialog.

I'd like to suggest that #69691 isn't a true dupe of this.  That other issue is "something is actually broken and doesn't work as intended".  This is a feature request.  The two are related though.
