Description:
Hello,

Workbench never worked under VISTA64 (for me at least). Latest release does not improve the situation.

Trying to see the server health from an already running server does only show grey boxes.

Did not try what is shown when you start the server from the workbench itself.

Again this is not a release canidate at all.

Sincerely,

Louis

How to repeat:
1) Start a local MySQL server (5.5.3 in my case) on a windows64 system.
2) start the WB and .... exectly see nothing in the health windows

Never had this problem on 32-bit XP. Do you see "The database server instance is running", with "running" in green at least?

Valery,

Yes that (running or stopped) is working in this version.

Sincerely,

Louis

Many thanks for writing a bug report.

Vista64 is not a supported platform for Workbench 5.2.

More informations about supported platforms you will get here:

Susanne,

Reading that page, you are wright.

But it must be a joke! Not supporting VISTA.

Appart of the fact that I can hardly imagine that it works under windows7 64 if it is not under vista64

Sincerely,

Louis
