This works using any Windows client, and seems to break both Mysql Administrator & the Query Tool. Simply create a view, then try to refresh the schema / catlogue view in MySQL Administrator.

Dropping the view resolves the problem.

In windows, from the command line, I can do a select on the view. The problem starts with the show keys from 'view_name'. phpmyadmin shows the same error and points to the show key command. Ron
