Description:
When Workbench is connected to my Synology NAS MySQL database, all but one tab work in the Admin Server instance.

The Synology NAS has a basic Linux flavor with MySQL 5.1.34 running.

This probably happens because parts of the MySQL setup is handled by the NAS'es firmware, which results in some kind of shielding off from any intrusion by any other outside admin package.

Happens in similar Workbench versions running both under Windows XP and Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid.

The NAS uses a partial SSH-connect (without the SSH-key), and in the System Profile the "Linux (Custom)" item is selected.

How to repeat:
Clicking on the "Edit Configuration File" tab will produce the same error every time.

Please explain what you mean by this sentence. What is the problem with WB?

I meant to say that all tabs in the Admin window work, displaying there respective 'subwindows' when clicked on, but not when selecting the "Edit Configuration File" tab. It produces the error messagebox as indicated, in both the Windows Version as the Linux version using Ubuntu 10.04.

What exactly is the error message?
[12 Jun 2010 18:45] Koos van Klojum
Under Windows XP:
Clicking on the X of the window tab results in an Workbench application error messagebox:
"Error"
<White cross in red circle> Unhandled exception [Errno 22] channel closed

Which server version are you using?
Which sql-mode are you using on server by default?
