Description:
Changing SSH port number in the "Manage Server Instances > Enble SSH Shell Connection > Port:" textbox doesnt produce the expected result.

Error message: "Could not establish SSH connection: Could not open socket to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

SSH using Putty from and to the same machine works perfectly.

How to repeat:
Change SSH port number, attempt connection to SSH server with portnumber other then 22.

This is a duplicate of bug #53623.

The bug already is fixed in MySQL Workbench 5.1.22 RC.

Please try this version.
