do you have the gnome-keyring package installed (is the keyring daemon running)? thanks in advance

its installed however, checking with top it does not show up. Is there a better way to check if its running? thank

I temporarily solved the issue by adding "gnome-keyring-daemon" as a startup application. Not sure if this is the best solution as there is already this entry: "gnome-keyring-daemon --start --components=pkcs11" Anyways I am not able to store the passwords.

Many thanks for pointing this out. The gnome-keyring daemon needs to run.
