Description:
Instead of reporting a new bug, I searched and found a matching report, and appended additional comments and screen shots on May 11th. Bug 52619

Today, the system reported to me that it had not gotten any feedback from anyone for over 30 days, and that it was closing the bug. I can't open it, since I was not the original reporter, but the bug exists, and has existed for a long time. It makes the system difficult to use if you have more than a single diagram.

I marked it serious because the system should not close bugs that have been getting legitimate feedback. How many others are there?

How to repeat:
Look at the log for bug 52619

Submit a comment to an open bug that you don't own and with "my" account's level of permissions.

Yes, this happens when comment is added by other person than those reported a bug. Must be fixed some day it seems.

I've re-opened that other bug by the way.

Thanks for opening the other bug. I think someone should search the system to see how many of these "automatic closures" shouldn't have happened, especially since the system tries hard to get people to search out an existing bug before reporting a "new" one.

Bug 52619 needs to be reopened again. It once again sent me a message (because I am watching it) that "no comments have been received for 30 days", etc.

This has been fixed. Now posting comments/files to a bug in status Need Feedback or No Feedback by others aside from the reporter will also change the status to Open.
