Description:
When trying to create a new or open an existing ER diagram an error window pops up with the message error in line 152 in canvas.h. Workbench doesn't crash and I can close the ER diagram window but whenever I try to put anything on the diagram this message comes up.

How to repeat:
Create a new or open an existing ER diagram.

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat on Windows Vista Ultimate X86_64, please, have you modified the Workbench Preferences? Please provide the output of Help->System Info too. Thanks in advance.

Where did you get Workbench SE?
[29 Apr 2010 14:17] Tom ONeil
From the MySQL site.

Tom, after 5.2.20 there have been changes to make the OpenGL rendering more reliable, so I'd like to ask you to try the latest WB release (there will soon be a 5.2.24 so you could use that once it is out). Thank you.

I've took this problem too.
I seem problem raised in any case when drawing surface goes about redraw: scrolling model nav, opening the model, creating new, resize drawing area/window etc.

Problem occurs only in 5.2 branch, all 5.1 is works porperly: all my diagrams created with 5.1.18. Neither full install, neither no-install packs of 5.2.xx got not out this problem.

Here's my sysinfo:

Problem localized and, seems, to be solved.

All presented sysinfo tells that problems occurs on systems with AMD and ATI Radeon under Vista.

To solve this problem renew the ATI drivers pack:

Constantine,

thank you for update and localization of the problem. Report closed as "Not a Bug", because this is not MySQL bug.

I think it would be great when we would make a note in documentation here.

Set bug report to documentation team.
