Description:
I'm using Workbench 5.2.19 Beta on Wiondows XP ( service pack 3) with ubuntu server 5.1.37
If i start workbench and close them. When i try to start workbench for the second time my pc go down and restart.

How to repeat:
Open workbench. Connect with server. Close workbench. Open workbench for the second time. Pc will restart.

could you provide the info shown when you select help->system info?
we have seen some reports about problems with openGL on intel-boards so you could also try to start Workbench using the command line parameter:
-swerndering

From where did you download the packages and how did you install them?

i'm download from dev.mysql.com with mirror of Univ. of technology/Vienna Austria
I'm download the version with msi installer for windows.

I'm getting the same error. I don't even need to connect to a server - I can simply open MySQL Workbench then try to open it again and my computer instantly restarts.

Using -swerndering didn't help

I've attached all the error details I could get hold of "error-dmp.txt"

With a new version of workbench is everything ok.
I can open and close  a program and now my pc is not restarting.

I can also confirm that this bug is fixed for me. It required an uninstall & reinstall first though.

My process was (starting at 5.2.20):
- Installed 5.2.21 which still restarted my machine and showed several other major bugs
- Uninstalled 5.2.21
- Reinstalled 5.2.21 and everything is working with no restarts

I take it the other bugs I was seeing are due to artefacts left over by using various other beta versions recently so I won't bother reporting them unless I see them again.

Not repeatable with 5.2.21 (as it seems from recent comments).
