Description:
Sometimes, mysql_real_connect() fails.

mysql> 
i mysql_rea_connect in pthread program which compilied with libmysqlclient_r
Apr 20 03:48:38 gameserver Gmaster[4746]: Failed to connect to database: Error: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (111)

Thank you for the bug report. Could you please try with version 5.0.90 and if still the issue exists please provide a repeatable test case (C code file). Thanks  in advance.
