Description:
Problem:

When assigning entities to a layer while drawing a large ER Diagram, the grid behind the layer is not visible. Now if you have a layer that spans multiple pages it becomes problematic because it is very hard to see where you should place entities so that they are not cutoff when printed. In addition, if you are using the "Align to grid" option, you can't see the grid so you don't know where you are necessarily aligning it to.

Ehancement(s) to address problem:

There are two features that could address this problem:

1) Allow the developer to choose a Transparency for the layer making it easier to see the grid behind the layer

2) place the grid over the layer, but beneath objects (entities, views, etc).

How to repeat:
No bug to repair, this is a feature request.
