Description:
When I try to save a backup project, I get an access violation error exception[1]. Same thing when I'm asked to save the project on creating a new project. Inspite of this, the properties on the first tab, 'Backup Project', are saved (i.e. project name and backup content).

When I try to delete any project by right clicking on it and choosing 'delete', I get a similar kind of error[2]. MySQL Admin does not perform the deletion and, as a result, no backup projects can be deleted.

Another error occured a few times when I'm asked to save the curent project on switching to a different project[3].

All in all the backup feature seems to work really weired and is sometimes slow in response, like when selecting one or more backup projects in the lower left list.

[2] MySQL Admin error02.gif
[3] MySQL Admin error03.gif (12KB each)

How to repeat:
At first it seemed, like the error ocurred every time I was trying to save or delete a project. After testing and exploring a while it actually seemed to work a every once in a while but not consistently.

Hi

I wasn't able to repeat this problem ... can you please give me a step by step procedure that will reproduce these symptoms ?

Thanks!!

Step by step procedure to reproduce the symptoms:

- Open MySQL Admin
- Login as localhost with username and password using port 3306
- Switch to 'Backup' section
- Click 'New Project', enter name and choose tb to save
- Switch to 'Schedule' tab, check the schedule box and enter schedule information (the error occurs, no matter what the schedule setup is)
- hit 'Save Project'
--> error occurs!
... at this point I realize the error only occurs when 'schedule this backup project' is checked! Sorry ...

Deleting ANY project(scheduled or not) always produces the error!

This issue has now been addressed. The problem only occured when the Taskplanner service was not started.

Please start the service to use the backup functionality.

An internal release 1.0.11.3 which displays a warning can be downloaded from
