Description:
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

a few days ago I have downloaded the MySQL Administrator 1.0.09 and that version worked perfectly. Today I have installed MySQL Administrator 1.0.10 and got following problem:

Everytime when I try to apply changes to a table (e.g. inserting/deleting a column or changing some column parameters) I get a Memory Access Violation.

I have tried to install/uninstall the Administrator 1.0.10 several times, I have deleted the Administrator's registry entries, but nothing helped.

Now I have reinstalled the Administrator 1.0.09, and everything works well again.

I don't know whether there is a bug in version 1.0.10 or I have to change some properties of my XP or anything else.

How to repeat:
Operating System: Windows XP
Install the latest version of MySQL 4.0 and MySQL Administrator 1.0.10
Create a new shema/table using the MySQL Administrator 1.0.10.
Apply changes to that table.
Now you should get a Memory Access Violation.

This bug is now fixed. I have created an internal release 1.0.10.2. Please download this release from

ftp://ftp.mysql.com:/pub/mysql/download/mysql_administrator_gpl.msi

I would ask you to close the bug report if this addresses the issue on your system, too.
