Description:
hi, i have install mysql client server at my win98 pc. then i have created a database that store english, and chinese character. then i copy my whole data folder to winXP. in winXP i also have install the client server. so that means that at winXP also have a data folder. so i rename that folder and then paste the one in my win98 to it. then i open my control centre at winXP there. i works fine. so then i try to backup it. backup works perfect. but then i try to restore the backup file. error prompt out when i try to click the "Analyze Backup File Content" button the following error pop up. 
"The following exception occurred:
Error While retrieving backup content"

How to repeat:
so then i try another database. this time that database didn't store any chinese character in it. so the step are still the same as above. i create a database in win98 and then paste it over to winXP. then i backup this database. and then use the restore to restore it back. but this time no error occur. what happen here???

Can you attach your backup file?  If it is greater than 200K, can you put it on ftp.mysql.com
using the anonymous account and let us know the filename?
