Many thanks for writing a feature request. Zooming with a mouse wheel is very un-familiar for Linux users. They always feel annoyed from this Windows feature. So we really have to discuss this first.

Hi Susanne, To me it's a must-have shortkey, like CTRL + S. Also, to me and many others I know this is a feature, which once you know of, you never want to miss it again. Like when the mousewheel came up in the early 90's. Also, it's just a shortkey. Nobody forces you to use it. Wether Linux-Users are gonna use it or not is up to them. The moreworth stays in no negative relation to the couple of hours you need to implement it. jmho of course, Regards

I agree this should be implemented, also a new tab in "preferences" where you can disable this (and other) shortcut.
