Description:
I've tried installing the drivers on a Windows 7 desktop. The 3.51 appears to install, but the driver is not available when I open Admin tools (from the control panel) and try to add the mySQL ODBC connector.

The ODBC 5.1 installation goes to the run or cancel box, but nothing happens after clicking on run.

How to repeat:
Use a Windows 7 computer and try to download and install it.

Suggested fix:
Update the driver to work with Windows 7.

Hi Teresa and thanks for your report.

As you can see from the first picture, I had both MyODBC drivers up and running (both 32 and 64 bit versions) for months. I had also done tests with them so they were absolutely functional.
Just to be on safe side, I removed everything and reinstalled latest 5.1. No problems detected.

In my opinion, you either downloaded broken msi file or you tried installing from non-privileged account. Check your msi install logs and correct the situation.
