Hi VASSILIS,

thanks for your report. Are you able to reproduce the problem and/or describe what you've been doing in workbench when the problem accurred? Just by looking at the stacktrace we cant pinpoint the source of the problem.

This problem happends when i try to create an alert script by using the sql create script. the stpes are the followin

1. file --> forward engineer alert script
2. click on brower button and select the input file
3. click on brower button to select thwe output file
4. when press next button pop up the bug window

the strange is that the first time I used the program this process worked normally

What do you mean with alert script?
[5 Feb 2010 8:33] VASSILIS PAPADIAS
Sorry. I mean alter script. When i do changes on database tables and trying to create the alter script, then, when clicking on next after the sellection of input and output file, pop ups thwe bug window.

I also tried to synchronize models but when the database exists, the application produce code to drop database.

P.S.: Sorry for my poof english. If you can't understand what i mean in my messages please tell me.
This tool is very helpful for me.

Which Windows version do you use?
Which server version do you use?
[10 Feb 2010 12:46] VASSILIS PAPADIAS
windows version XP with sp3
MySQl version 5.0.45
[19 Feb 2010 12:01] Susanne Ebrecht
Do you get same failure by using server version 5.1?
[22 Feb 2010 23:00] VASSILIS PAPADIAS
No. I did not tried with server version 5.1. Now, I have uninstall the 5.2.15 version of workbench and I have install the new version 5.2.16. The alter export works without any problem.
I think it's ok now!
