Hi Guilhem, What version? On my linux box (2.4.21 #12 SMP) I get this: booty-[~]$perror 2 Error code 2: No such file or directory booty-[~]$which perror /usr/local/mysql/bin/perror booty-[~]$/usr/local/mysql-standard-5.0.1-alpha-pc-linux-i686/bin/perror 2 Error code 2: No such file or directory 4.1.3-beta is installed in /usr/local/mysql I only get the same results as you when using perror on my windows 2000 machine and that's the same with 4.0.20 as with 4.1.3. Can you work with me to get more specifics? Best Regards
