Description:
I am unable to connect to my local instance of MySql Server 5.1.

I used MySQL Workbench 5.2.15 OSS Beta Revision 5053.

I am using MS Windows XP SP3 32-bit.

How to repeat:
Steps:

0. Open MySql Workbench. We should be at Home tab at this point.
1. Click New Server Instance at the Server Administration section.
2. At "Specify Host Machine", select Localhost. Click Next button.
3. At "Operating System", select "Windows (MySQL 5.1 x86 Installer Package)". Click Next button.
4. At "Test Settings", please note the following details:
    a. Connect to host machine -- dimmed
    b. Check location of Administration commands -- checked
    c. Locate database configuration file -- red X mark
    d. Error: File %ProgramFiles%\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\my.ini doesn't exist.
5. Open Windows Explorer, and confirm that the file "%ProgramFiles%\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\my.ini" exists.

Suggested fix:
MySQL Workbench should be able to view and process the file.
