Description:
I just installed the following on WinXP:
mysql-workbench-oss-5.2.14-beta-win32.msi
mysql-essential-5.1.42-win32.msi

MySQL server works fine, but workbench can not start SQL Editor.

The connection is fine, because I can open Server Admin, and works fine.
But when I click the connection to start SQL Editing, it pop up a window:
Can not open selected view (dbquery)
Nullable object must have a value.

BTW, the old MySQL Query Browser from GUI Tools can work.
mysql-gui-tools-5.0-r17-win32.msi

Maybe workbench 5.2.14 is not compatible with MySQL Server 5.1?

How to repeat:
As the above desc.

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat on Windows Vista X64 and MySQL server 5.1.42. Have you created a New Server Instance and New Connection?. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I created new Server Instance and Connection.

I can double click the Instance to open Server Admin window, and use Status, Configuraton, Accounts, etc.

But when I double click the Connection to open SQL Editor, it popop the error window as previous desc.

Possible related to .Net Framework? When I install .Net 3.5, it hung for one time, so I killed it and reinstalled it again.

could you try with latest available version (5.2.15) and see if the problem persists?
