Description:
The default format for the file output by SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE format is described on the LOAD DATA page (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/load-data.html) but not the SELECT syntax page (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/select.html). To me, this isn't very intuitive, and a description of the syntax on the SELECT page would be helpful.

Suggested fix:
Include description of default format for SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE

The SELECT page says: "See Section 12.2.6, “LOAD DATA INFILE Syntax”, for further information about the FIELDS and LINES clauses, including their default values and allowable values." The information for SELECT is the same as for LOAD DATA, so it makes more sense to give the cross reference than to repeat it all.
