How to repeat:
Open and editor session by clicking on a connection in home screen
go up to search area and type into it
click of Toggle Sidebar twice.
Boom - crashes -- repeatable.

An entry has been added to the 5.2.15 changelog:

If text was typed into the search bar in the SQL Editor, and the sidebar button clicked twice, MySQL Workbench crashed. This only happened on Mac OS X.
