Description:
JDK 6 Update 18 has an SSL-related performance bugfix, as well as some other bug fixes we'd like to pull in. Please upgrade our bundled JDK to 6.0 update 18 for both 2.2 and 2.1.

Reopening this issue since now the application does not run on Windows. The following is from the jakarta service log:

This was found using both 2.1.1.1140 and 2.2.0.1607.
