refreshing the overview is already implemented in 5.2.16. the toolbar is on the list for 5.2

I also think that the refresh should happen when an object is altered.

Same problem exists in 5.2.21. If I add a new field to a table, in the tree on the right side, if I open up the database, the new field is not there, but if I right-click and do a Refresh All, it shows up. Using Win7

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has already been fixed in the latest released version of that product, which you can download at http://www.mysql.com/downloads/
