Description:
Any TEXT column I have in my databases is shown either as a 0 or a 1

How to repeat:
1. Connect to any server
2. Either do a SELECT * FROM <table>.<database> or double-click on the schemata window in any table with TEXT columns.

In your TEXT columns, you'll see a 0 or a 1

fix confirmed. will be included in 5.2.9

An entry was added to the 5.2.9 changelog:

Any TEXT columns in the Table Editor, or TEXT columns in the SQL Editor results tabsheet, were displayed as BOOLEAN values, either 1 or 0.

Sorry, I realise this thread is closed, but I'd just like to add that this exact same issue (TEXT-type columns showing 0/1) is also an issue in version 5.2.8 Beta on Ubuntu 9.10 (x86).

I'd LIKE to think that that this is also fixed for Ubuntu/Linux, due to code sharing etc., but obviously, it is better to draw your attention to the problem, just in case ;-D .

Cheers

Rich
