Description:
While Administrator installation will first remove old administrator then install new, query browser does require manual de-installation. This is cumbersome and should be avoided.

How to repeat:
Install old query browser, the try to install current version.

Suggested fix:
Same behaviour as administrator

Dear User,

Thank you for your bug report!

After further review, I see that this behavior only exhibits itself when running the installer as a
non administrator user. I was not able to repeat this problem when running as administrator.
This behavior is correct as another use should not be able to overwrite the installation.

Best Regards

Matthew,

can't confirm this- I'm always admin. Same behaviour on 2 PCs. I'll watch out for QB 1.0.6 and let you know if the same thing happens again. If yes- any logging or the like I could turn on?

Cheers,
Andreas

This behavior is a side-effect of the wrong version-number in the msi-file.
