Hi Heinrich and thanks for your report. I see no bug described here. Moreover, all of the MySQL software you refer to is very old and I'm obliged to test only with most recent code. There is nothing in MySQL 5.0.51a that could have caused this to happen (to my knowledge) but you are free to check changelog. Probably, this is just a misconfiguration in your environment. Check MySQL server error log and turn on ODBC tracing while searching for clues. There is also a "AutoReconnect" option in recent c/ODBC that might help. If you can provide me with test case that shows your problem every time we run it, please reopen the report.
