I can't test 5.2.3 because it crashes at the start-up however 5.1.18 I couldn't repeat on Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

Not repeatable on XP. Should be something Vista-specific.

Did you try to open a file that you created with that version or a file from an older Workbench version?
[28 Sep 2009 11:26] Tim Langner
No it has never been possible to choose any file because the program hangs right after clicking on files/open...

Are you tried to remove and re-install?. Thanks in advance.
[28 Sep 2009 14:39] Tim Langner
Yes I tried,
uninstalling
Workbench 5.2.3
Workbench 5.1.18a
Installing Workbench 5.1.18a -> Same result. Program freezes when clicking File/Open
Another Try
Uninstalling Workbench 5.1.18a
Uninstalling Fabforce DBDesigner4
Installing Workbench 5.1.18a -> Same result. Program freezes when clicking File/Open

Same "error message in system.info"
c:\Software\python25\lib\site-packages\py2exe\boot-common.py", line 44, in <module> SystemError ..\..\Objects\tupleobjecft.c:90:bad argument to internal function

Many thanks for writing a bug report.

Unfortunately, we are not able to repeat this behaviour.
[29 Sep 2009 9:50] Tim Langner
So are there some other informations in combination to the error Message in System info
c:\Software\python25\lib\site-packages\py2exe\boot-common.py", line 44,
in <module> SystemError ..\..\Objects\tupleobjecft.c:90:bad argument to
internal function

which could help to isolate the problem.
