Description:
It would be really nice if there were a way to "underlay" (versus overlay) a color band indicating the statistical process control norms for the graph being viewed as a way to help DBA's quickly find performance outliers. The band would be computed using a formula similar to this with x representing both upper and lower control limits: xCL = average +/- ( sqrt( target - average ) ). I only really care when the performance shows up outside of that band (above or below).
