Description:
Workbench appears to crash when copying, pasting or editing an SQL query in Query Editor

How to repeat:
1) Create an SQL Query.
2) Run it
3) Edit the query, using copy/paste, or attempt to copy a portion of the query to a new Query Editor Window
4) Goto step 1

At some point, the program will crash.

Thank you for the problem report. Please, provide more exact steps on how to repeat, maybe with specific queries. I was not able to crash WB this way, although I tried for 10+ minutes.

Difficult to provide exact repro steps, as the application seems to crash randomly when using the query editor. Executing a query, hitting the delete key, attempting to hilight text and overwrite, moving the current focus to the Query editor pane, changing tabs, launching the query editor, all have crashed the application at some point or another.

At this point, after having updated to Snow Leopard, I'm no longer able to launch the application (crashes on launch), so I can't really be of more service, sorry.

Many thanks for writing a bug report.

I already recognised similar random crashes already on Linux.

Our development is already on the way to fix this problem.

Please wait until the next update is out and let us know if the crashes are fixed then.
