Description:
i have created a fields in my tables that store chinese words. at my mysql tables i can view it. but when i backup it and then want to restore it. those records disappear. i on the chinese star when i key in the data and but when i do the backup i didn't on the chinese star. so is there any problem with storing chinese words in mysql database?

How to repeat:
i convert my access tables to mysql. but in my ms access there, i can store chinese words. then i open the mysql table, i still can view it. but when i try to do the backup and restore. those records all gone.

Your version is pretty older. Could you please test the current release
