Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments to the original bug instead. Description: when running mysql.data.msi (rev {82697F16-719E-4C34-8323-3637EA87462E} wit, i get the following pop up : failed to open XML file c:\program files\MySQL\MySQL Connector Net 6.0.4\svctag.xml, system error -2147024786 and the installation stops installing connector 5.2.3 works well altenatively i downloaded also the no installation version but nowhere is indicated what to do for installing it How to repeat: it haapens each time i run the msi packcage
